John Matthew Fox is a fiction and nonfiction writer living in Los Angeles. He has a Master of Professional Writing degree from the University of Southern California and an MA in Literature from New York University. Aside from schooling, he’s also been educated by the road, traveling through more than 40 countries on 6 continents in the past decade.
He launched BookFox in May 2006 with a focus on novels and short stories, then started conducting text and video interviews with authors in early 2007. He’s written about books for the Los Angeles Times, PBS Channel Thirteen, US Airways Magazine, Rain Taxi Review of Books, California Literary Review, Open Letters Monthly, and The Quarterly Conversation.
