Sorry for the absence of posting recently. I’ve been swamped with a number of things, including sending off a flock of short stories to literary journals, as well as trying to look for career opportunities for Fall, 2008, since I’m finishing my MFA degree at USC in May of 08. It looks like I’ll land adjunct work – not the most fiscally glorious, but if I can find literature classes to teach, certainly enjoyable. The last project has been writing my thesis – a collection of short stories. Between pounding out new drafts and agonizing over editing former drafts, all my creative imagination and time has been poured into the collection. But I’ll certainly let everyone know when some of the stories get published (fingers crossed).
It’s been too long

Keep us posted if your short stories get published….
Have you submitted to TinHouse Press? Another Portland Oregon
small press favorite of mine is Hawthorne Press.
Good Luck!
