Happy Birthday to me. Or, well, BookFox. I’ve come so far from that fateful first post about meeting Jonathan Safran Foer. It’s been three wonderful years, and I’m so glad to get through the terrible twos. Thanks to my faithful readers, and may there be much more literary fun to come.
Happy 3rd Birthday to BookFox

Congratulations on the milestone!
Yes, congrats! -ae
Survival. Well done.
Thanks, everyone. May the future be even brighter. (Or some such nonsense)
I read this blog regularly and seldom (never) comment, a “lurker” I guess in internet terms. BUT, on this occasion, I feel the need to say just how wonderful this blog is.
In terms of the contemporary short story, I was lost as to where to even start before gaining direction from your posts. For instance, I learned of Kyle Minor from your blog, which led me to an anthology called Surreal South in which his work has appeared, which led me to submit to the annual short fiction contest of that anthology’s publisher (Press53), in which I recently placed second.
To me, this speaks to the immeasurable yet powerful influence of your blog (or something like that).
Congrats!
Taylor, thanks for coming forward and admitting your addiction (bookfox = AA “Welcome Taylor”) 🙂
Great that you’ve found so much great lit through the blog — and yes, Kyle Minor rocks.
Congrats on the 2nd place in the competition, too!
Congratulations from a rather new member of your fan crowd! Love your blog as it makes me able to keep up with the literary world even though I don’t have much time for reading myself these days (being mom to two children under the age of 3)!
