Very depressed to hear that Jeanne Leiby, editor of the Southern Review and former editor of the Florida Review, has died in a car crash. She was far too young.
AP has a few more details in this stub. Remarkably, her wikipedia page has already been updated to reflect the date of her passing.
She had a big heart for writers and will be sorely missed. She was so forthcoming and passionate in this video interview I did with her at BEA a few years ago.

It was nice to see this wonderful picture of Jeanne. I also thought it was odd that her Wikipedia page was so quickly changed, mostly because I still can’t believe she’s gone.
NO! She was SO COOL. I loved editing that interview. Wow, so sad.
Kevin Jarre (Screenwriter of Tombstone) and Tim Hetherington (co-director of Restrepo) just died as well. Bad day.
Yes, sure was a shock. Lit journal world hasn’t been rocked this hard since the VQR fiasco.
