Writing habits

I raised three daughters (included twins) AND spent many years teaching full-time, and I still managed to write. But when I retired, I struggled! Bookfox has helped me reflect on what’s up with that and make some micro changes that IMMEDIATELY helped. His downloads are worth the price of admission. I highly recommend this series. Thank you!

I found this course changed the way I approached my writing time and goals. The Triple Reward System and Sacrifice for Your Writing lessons were game changers for me. I appreciate John’s videos and how he structured the course. It’s not boring so I looked forward to each of the lessons. The PDFs were also really helpful. I review them often. If you want to improve your use of time and set goals for writing, I highly recommend this course.

This course had so many useful, applicable skills, and actionable pieces of information that are really helping me become more productive with my writing and writing time. I also love the quizzes after videos! I think they are so helpful cementing what I have learned.

I was having a difficult time writing a short story and several of your lessons helped me immensely. Specifically, tracking my time, setting writing goals, and the truth about procrastination. Those lessons specifically addressed the problems I was experiencing. I also liked the fact that all the lessons were clear, concise and to the point. I was able to watch the entire course in a day and have re-watched sections of them since. I would recommend the course to anyone who is starting out in their writing life.

As the title states, you are really given a boost with its delivery of abundant knowledge, information, strategies and techniques to empower you to move forward with a more disciplined mind. It filled me with the eagerness to write more often for sure… but this time from a new, more empowered perspective. I highly recommend this course.

This course not only taught me things I had not considered about my perspective on my writing, but also gave me tangible tasks in order to make writing a daily habit. And yeah, there were some things that I’d heard before, but John presented them with such freshness and backed up the approaches with solid evidence in each of his video presentations. But the proof is in the pudding – I did ALL the work outside of the course and am now writing daily! Trust me, it’s worth every dime and every minute you put into participating. Thank you, John!
